The man standing there is Mortise Lament, a man whose time has stopped which caused his immortality (more of an undead though). The person below is Amras. This is the scene where Amras disposed of the shadefolk attacking them, and then Mortise made his first appearance iin my fantasy story.

Painted in Photoshop.
